Grunblau Platform CNC

Ordered my cnc kit and it arrived today... Platform CNC
First part of the kit is the one made by Mr. Brian Oltroge and it came in three packages.
A tube

And it held these

A bigger box

and it contained these

The last box which is slightly smalle but heavier

Contained these

And since I still need the extrusions and electronics, I found no purpose to opening them

Well, I can't help it and decided to open it up and check the condition and its completeness (or lack of, huhuhu)

Looks great timber, can't believe you're not itching to start bolting it all together!

Gavin, it needs at least two more kits for me to complete the machine. One of the kit has all the aluminum extrusions and bearing blocks, most of which forms the structure. Thus nothing to join at this time.

Thought it was, but when I double checked the parts, the extrusions come with the electronics kit.

Opened it as soon as I thought there is no point to... :shifty:

got home early today, and instead of just watching the cnc kit as it sits I decided to get some stainless screws...
Decided to instal mounts for the feet
Image
As I was installing the mount for the leveling feet I noticed how much consideration to detail was taken.
Image
This holds the mount from moving sideways keeping it in securely place.
Image
So far this is all I can do other than wacth it :wtf:

I'm sure you will find something else to do with it tomorrow.
