Since some finishing procedures are common between wood and metals, this forum is created for just that. Includes preparation, painting, finishing, etc.

Anong stain iyan? Nice red. Do they come in different colors?
I'd rather add life to my years than years to my life.

I got the Sphero and Bronco brands NGR stains. Thanks, she wanted a Chinese red main door and back door.

The Bronco brands only comes in the usual stain colors like cherry, mahogany, etc while the Sphero brand comes in primary colors as well. I will add a pinch of black to the sanding sealer for toning to darken the red color, she wanted a more darker one but we decided to have the red stain applied to the wood directly.

Bronco brands are available at Wilcon, both Sphero and Bronco are available at CW Home Depot.

Husband and wife team make better results!
If only the wood they use have beautiful grains then the red stain will be spectacular!
I think i was a woodworker in my previous life...and the life previous to that.

My wife is pretty handy with the shovel too. We try to do whatever we can to help in the build.

You're right, sadly the pattern of the grains leaves a lot to be desired.
