Bandsaws

Bandsaws

I just thought I'd start a timely thread from the past, this could be useful for those having a bandsaw soon :shifty:

assemble the base cabinet but leave the bolts fairly loose. this gives it a chance to flex to the floor once the bandsaw is mounted
Image
*tip* consider a mobile base and how you plan to make one before mounting the rest.
mount the saw without the table first, this makes it more manageable, then once mounted, install the table then tighten the cabinet bolts. install the blade and try it out...

1 will be dedicated for resaw work.
Your cutting tools is only as good as your sharpening system.
