So glad that Ernie finally found a welding machine he really likes. I saw that Winner welder on demo too. It's smaller than the Yamato in footprint and is rated at 160A. Frankly speaking I think it is under rated at 160A .... welds and performs like a 200A in my humble observations.

had issues with lower amps using 3.2mm OC Led lights up, just turn it off after a minute turn on, dial up the amp setting then good to go cutting 1/2 steel plate with Winner MMA-168 DC welder

What's the ampere setting? Seems pushing it at 1/2 inch steel plate.

H N Y! Sir BF, problem with this analog machine is no number for visual . if I set it low like between 2.5mm and f 3.2mm OC Led lights up. but if I set the dial like under the number 3 of 3.2mm it works fine. only its running on the hot side. For the cutting part, set it at 4mm .

Yeah, I wish there was a digital readout too, it can lessen our learning curve. I hope this holds up to your projects.

Something made me look back on this thread again, and looking at the videos of Dontyre, he really is pushing this small beast to its limits.

Number can not be reached. Also tried to inquire from the supplier for price, unfortunately price is 10k already. Thinking of going for the other brand Hitronic
