Led lighting

Is it much more economical to use led lights compared to CFL?
Based from my experience, CFL can last around 2 years at normal house usage.
Led lights are quite expensive at initial costs.
Have you used GES led lights?

Have used GES for the past 2 years, seems ok. Just not sure if they still have the same brightness. Back then, about 20-30% brighter than CFL per Watt as per specs. Today's LEDs have gone up a notch again, should be another 20% brighter.
A lot of no name brands also much cheaper, just not sure about performance.
Check out Philips brand, they seemed to be competitive already price wise.

Marami na ngayon na branded LED bulb like Philips, Akari, Omni, Nxled and firefly.

For GES, I hope nag improved na sila.

Avoid those generic led buld hindi tumatagal.

Meron LED pinlight na kasama na yun led sa housing ng pinlight. Pag napundi palit ka rin ng housing.

I remember 2 year ago nagpalit kami ng LED pinlight (with led built-in sa aluminum housing). Around 14 pcs yun papalitan. I look for a pinlight same as the existing. P1,200 pala isa so total is P16,800. Nagulat sa presyo yun owner.
What we did we just buy pinlight casing sa A&S lamps and Firefly LED bulb sa home depot. Total expense is P2,600 only.

I want to try the new NXled bluetooth bulb that you can dim the light using android phone. Pwede mo rin sabay i-control yun mga led buld. Price is P1,000+

Nakabili na ako ng Led.
Opted to buy Landlite led products since there is discount for about 25% at CW home depot in alabang. With two years warranty, I think its ok for me.
Compared with the GES led of around 600 pesos.
Cost me around 6500 for 17 units of downlights.

Mahal sa CW Home depot, I think I got a 6-7W Philips for Php170 sa Wilcon.

At bigfoot, it is not the ordinary led bulb that i bought. It is a downlight with a housing already like if it breaks you have to replace the whole unit.

Hindi pa ako convinced in using led lights, ang dami ko na napundi , hi di ko mahanap mga receipts. But these are the initial ges leds. Ngayon we tried the omni lasi gusto ni mrs para daw matipid, same brightness as the 24w tornado cfl but half the wattage. More than 9mos na ok pa din.peroas usual wala na receipt so sayang 2yrs warranty.
