I agree with balarila that you can be safe with 3kw step down...but do you foresee using a 3 1/4 Hp router (roughly 2.2kw++)?..in which case the 3k is still ok since you dont run the router for a long time.
Deeco is ok. I have a 1.5kw and a 3kw... But Panther brand maybe better i guess based on the innards comparison. I am also on the look out for a cheaper Panther at OLX..a 3kw Deeco can be had for 4k iirc.
I think i was a woodworker in my previous life...and the life previous to that.

My GTS1031 table saw runs on a 3k step down transformer, ok naman. Nasa 1700watts din yata yun.

thanks sir sa help nyo, si sir jojo18 ba gumagawa pa rin ba ng stepdown transformer? do u guys have a contact where to buy the step down transformer fb contact sir? thanks mga sir.

Nabili ko yung transformers ko from a seller sa olx. They were made in Korea. Matibay... 5 years ko na ginagamit araw araw para sa appliances sa bahay.

Mga Sir ung table saw ba na GTS 10J need pa po ba ng AVR or stepdown transformer? ano po gagawin pag mataas wattage ng tools na locally binibenta..

Check your table saw if it matches our local voltage (220 to 240). If it does you don't need a step-down transformer.
