Inputs would not be easy at this point, can we crack your head open? :D

Lol..

I will be using a 2.5 meter corian counter top due to limited space..this kitchen will also accomodate a dining area for 4 persons.
Critical ang planning ahead.
The floor is already tiled...base cabinets for the corian not yet done...om the left wing is a 2hob built in gas stove and on the far end is a twin tub sink with some 40cm space to the right.
I want to know if Deepe marketing has some new styles drawer glides, for base cabinets and for overhead cabinets..ala plane cabin style.

I need some good quality 3/4" plywood for the base cabinets.
Exterior of plywood will be plastic laminated.

Self closing wire racks would be nice. They also have those push to open version. BB ply would be durable for your purpose.

Doc. V. whether for the overhead or base cabinet/cupboard, I would suggest you check out the pantry hardwares first. Then work around its dimension. It would be annowing when you have a finished cabinet and no sliding pantry wirerack would fit.

This is a big build, all the best doc.

I'm ambivalent on DIYing a project of this scale. Sometimes it's better to leave it to the pros, sometimes some of the "pros" aren't that pro at all and can be bested by a DIY'er who has watched youtube videos, well equipped, and "may malasakit".

I feel proud that i fixed the botched work of a plumber on a bathroom sink with quality materials and quality knowledge but (speaking for myself only) a whole kitchen is out of my powers.
At any rate, looking forward to seeing the progress of the project doc!

As Bernard has said, check out the available hardwares first. My wife bought a lot of stuff during several past Hafele sale, just hope the dimensions fit when the time comes to build our kitchen. We get them for 20-30% of the original price.

Where can you get push-to-open drawer slides? And would they also be self closing? Hafele?
