As we hare having new members, nicer, bigger and ever evolving shops and work spaces let us bear in mind SAFETY.
SAFETY FIRST.... ALWAYS!!!
Please equip your shops and workspaces with safety equipment such as fire extinguishers.
Keep your area clean, clutter free and orderly.
Unplug all electrical items before leaving the shop/area.
Read manuals and follow instructions to the best you can. Improve on it if you can...

Copy paste and add your recommendations for safety.

what a headstart Timb!

I will only add: if tired or sick, do not attempt to continue working with tools, dangerous tools!
I think i was a woodworker in my previous life...and the life previous to that.

Nice reminder, Timber. And some coincidence, I just bought a dedicated fire extinguisher over the weekend (sale kasi sa Ace near us). I'm worried about the volatile chemicals in my tool shed.

I bought a heavy duty extension cord. Even though I only use my power tools occasionally, I learned that I need a good extension cord for power tools.
Falling in love with Vintage tools.

Fire blanket to complement fire extinguisher. Fire blanket seems easier to use, I think.
