I never thought that it will be small as this. You can hide it in your palm. But this stud finder has two powerful rare earth magnet enable you to locate metal studs on drywall partition (gypsum or fiber cement board) and even screws on 3/4" boards.

No doubt, it has 369 Five star review at amazon.com

My 5 yrs old son thought it was a toy presence for him. He's enjoy playing it.

Why I need this....

On site we're installing 1/4" thick glass white board maximum 4" x 8" weighs around 100 lbs.

You need to install it a drywall partition (gypsum board) using glass clip. Locating the metal studs is hit or miss. You will leave the wall with a lot of holes...

More reviews to come... CH magnetic stud finder on action.

I occasionally buy 2nd hand wood. You think this device would be good to locate embedded nails?

@Balarila

I just tried to stick the magnetic stud finder. I never thought that there's a nail embedded in my consul table.. :thumbup:

This is to show how strong is the magnet in locating nails.
