My Ex 21 was not working for almost 8mos due to defective speed controller.

and to my surprise, this potentiometer # B20k is available in our local electronic store.
after replacing it works like new again! spending the entire holiday & 2 blades 1 cut 54 names(for key chain) out of 1/2 thick Scrap narra.

Now my next problem is how to restore the table coating. ... Any suggestions? powdercoating or electroplating?

Yes. That pot is easily available sa Deeco. I assume you got it there?

What was the cause of the breakdown, BTW? Pots usually live a long time though may get a bit "scratchy".

sir ding, i dont know what the cause of the problem. its just started when I adjust the speed it will stop. the speed controller assembly(pot & wire) cost 31.55 USD(excl shipment) @ Seyco,.... and the pot just cost me 20petot here in cebu hehehe.

So this suddenly fell from my sj401. Its the air pump diaphragm, I think (sabi ni google), for the blower. This is the bottom half of it.

Any leads where to buy replacement for this, or a DIY solution?
