Bistado! Yup. Blade needs changing. Mapurol and the red paint of the Freud that acts as anti-friction is almost gone. I have a new one but reserving it for the new incoming cabinet saw.

Had to find it out the costly way hahaha. Dami so sinubukan pang linis at pang lube and up to now wala pa ako nakita na perfect cleaning solution. Pag magaling tumanggal ng gunk mas dry ang labas ng blade (nawawala yun dulas) when you apply lube naman ayun mas mabilis mag gunk. Nakakainis noh! So what i do is clean it before gunk builds up, yun basahang bilog gamit ko kasi matibay sa hiwa.

Milled the American Teak. Then glued:

While we were in Filtra, SWMBO also loved Rosewood. She asked me to get some and use it for the master bath vanity. This is too good to be true: SMBO asking me to do some projects!

So milled some Rosewood:

Next week, the cabinet itself.

Tactic iyan, Ricky. SWMBO's not yet aware of incoming cabinet saw!

Hindi na makahintay, Ricky.

Got home a bit early tonight so got me a slab of mahogany and started cutting and milling the legs, rails, and stiles.

While jointing my last piece of plank, I smelled something funny. I thought it was the wood. But my jointer stopped running and, when I looked up, saw that the motor was smoking. Darned. Probably burned my motor. My jointer is made from a surplus Ryobi planer motor. If anyone knows a source, do let me know, please.
